Book Your Sugaring!

Sugaring provides a gentle, effective alternative to traditional waxing, ideal for sensitive skin and long-lasting smooth results.

Sugaring is an all natural hair removal method that has been used for centuries. Made from a simple blend of sugar, water, and lemon, the paste is applied at body temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth.

Unlike traditional waxing, sugaring does not use hot wax, sticks, or strips. This makes it gentler on the skin and a great option for sensitive areas like Brazilian, facial, and eyebrow services. Because the sugar paste is water soluble, cleanup is easy and there is less irritation left behind.

Sugaring is especially loved for its ability to remove shorter hairs, reduce breakage, and help minimize ingrown hairs over time. Many clients also find it to be more comfortable than waxing and notice smoother results with regular appointments.

Sugar Me specializes in Brazilian and full body sugaring using high quality, all natural products. You can feel confident knowing your skin is in experienced hands every step of the way.

I truly couldn't recommend SugarMe or the owner Jillian more. She is a genuinely caring person who does absolutely everything she can to make sure you are comfortable and confident in a vulnerable space. The service and results themselves are also incredible, I don't think I'll ever go back to not doing this for myself. If you are considering it this is 100% the place to do it in the Greenville area.

This was my first time trying sugar waxing and Jillian made it such a comfortable experience! I was nervous going in, but she was making conversation the whole time and also explaining what the benefits of sugaring are.

Afterwards, she gave me a hot towel and a balm to use, which wasn't something I've experienced at other places. I also appreciated that she wasn't pushy about selling her products.

I will definitely be rebooking!

Jillian makes a typically uncomfortable Brazilian experience feel like you just left happy hour drinks with your best friend! Love her! Very happy with my brow, lip and Brazilian sugaring at Sugar Me!

01

Hair must be a minimum of 1/8 inch long or the length of a grain of rice. Do not shave within 12-14 days prior for optimal results, avoid waxing /sugaring within 2 week to 3 weeks prior.

02

On the day of your appointment, shower and lightly exfoliate to ensure your skin is clean and free of surface oils and lotions.

03

For optimal results, begin exfoliating the area of hair removal the week before your sugaring appointment to eliminate dead skin cells.

04

To enhance your comfort, you might consider taking ibuprofen approximately 30 minutes before your appointment. Although sugaring is less painful than waxing, there may still be a slight sting.

The Sweet Stuff

If you’re searching for waxing in Greenville and keep hearing about sugaring, you’re not alone. Sugaring has become increasingly popular, especially for Brazilian hair removal and sensitive skin, and for good reason. I’m Jillian, the owner of Sugar Me in Greenville, SC. I’ve been sugaring for 15 years and opened my studio to offer a more natural, comfortable alternative to traditional waxing. If you’ve struggled with irritation, ingrown hairs, or painful experiences in the past, this may be exactly what your skin has been waiting for. What is sugaring? Sugaring is a method of hair removal using a simple paste made from sugar, water, and lemon. That’s it. No resins, no chemicals, and no artificial fragrance. Because the ingredients are so minimal, sugaring is safe for even the most sensitive skin. Unlike waxing, sugaring removes hair in the natural direction of growth. This is a huge difference and one of the main reasons clients see less breakage, fewer ingrown hairs, and smoother results over time. Sugaring vs waxing: what’s the difference? Traditional waxing adheres to live skin cells and pulls hair against the direction it grows. This can lead to more discomfort, redness, and irritation, especially for Brazilian services. Sugaring only sticks to dead skin cells and hair. Because it’s removed in the natural direction of growth, it’s gentler on the skin and helps reduce inflammation and post service sensitivity. Many clients who thought hair removal just had to be painful are surprised by how much more comfortable sugaring feels. Why sugaring is ideal for Brazilian hair removal. Brazilian sugaring is one of my most requested services at Sugar Me. Clients love that it’s more tolerable, especially with regular maintenance. Over time, hair often grows back finer and slower, and the skin becomes healthier with consistent sugaring. If you’ve experienced chronic ingrown hairs, razor bumps, or sensitivity from waxing or shaving, sugaring can be a game changer. Is sugaring right for you? Sugaring is great for: • sensitive skin • clients prone to ingrowns • Brazilian and facial hair removal • anyone looking for an all natural alternative to waxing If you’re new to sugaring, we always take time to educate you on the process, aftercare, and maintenance so you know exactly what to expect. Ready to try sugaring in Greenville? If you’re searching for waxing or Brazilian hair removal in Greenville and want a gentler option, we’d love to take care of you. Appointments can be booked online, and you can follow along on Instagram (@sugarmegreenville) to see education, behind the scenes, and real client results. I’m so grateful for every client who supports Sugar Me and can’t wait to welcome new faces this year.
